PRODUCTION AND PACKAGING

Plastic degassed body
Suitable for hand-works, close copies, wheel, press. It’s supplied in different hardnesses.
(D) Degassed - 20% medium humidity, in 25 kg. bags.

Slip-casting body
They may have a no-constant humidity degree: we suggest always to check slip-casting density and specific weight and eventually correct them to obtain the correct values. We suggest, before use, to pass the liquid through a mesh sieve.
(G) Granulated: powder 13% medium humidity, in 25 kg. bags or big bags on request.

Ready slip-casting body
(FL) Fluid: ready for casting, in 25 kg. pails.
 

FIRING DEGREE

Firing degree indicated is the “ideal” one for a standard product. Between brackets we indicate the correspondant Seger or Orton pyrometric cone.

SHRINKAGE, ABSORPTION, THERMAL EXPANSION

These technical data are the result of tests made on a 200x200x12 mm tile, made by casting and fired in a traditional electric kiln. They could change depending on the kind of object, the production’ method and on the firing mode. Then, data indicated must be considered exact only referred at our test, but not absolute.
